We Found Our Cozy Book Nook!
The last location we visited didn’t work for us, so we decided to re-visit the first place we had found. It was small (too small we thought at the time), but we thought we’d take a second look to see if would work or not. Afterall, the price was right and it’s close to our home.
When we arrived, the first thing we realized was that we had initially looked through the window of the wrong space. The realtor informed us that THAT space was already leased and led us to the space that was available.
Not going to lie, it was essentially love at first sight. To us, the space wasn’t small, but cozy. As we looked around, our minds started to race on how on how we were going to utilize each section of the space.
The space is separated into several smaller rooms. No doors, just entrances, which to us is perfect. We visualized the main event area, the hallway that would house paintings on the walls, one room for books and crafts, and a room for just books.
Suffice to say, it’s what we were looking for. It isn’t a high foot traffic area, but at the last place we looked at, that was actually not such a good thing, as we didn’t think we’d be able to keep up with inventory. Since our goal is to focus on events and a reading lounge, this place is perfect.
We’ve submitted all the paperwork, and hopefully we’ll get the keys when we get back into town. We’re ready to fix the place up and show all of you what we’ve done soon.
Take a look at the pictures. Do you like the space? Do you see the same potential we do?
Congratulations!
