Leticia McKnight Book Signing!

We’re super excited to have Leticia McKnight, author of the Children’s Book, “Where the Butterflies Fly” join us Saturday, December 6th at 2pm as she shares her story and signs copies of her book!

Leticia McKnight is a dedicated educator, proud military veteran, and debut children’s author whose heartfelt work invites young readers to embrace growth, imagination, and the beauty of everyday milestones. Drawing on a rich tapestry of life roles, wife, mother, grandmother, traveler, and teacher, her writing is deeply grounded in personal and universal experiences that inform her storytelling with authenticity and love.

In her first picture book, Where the Butterflies Fly (2024), McKnight transforms the simple phrase “go way, way high where the butterflies fly” into a lyrical journey through childhood’s moments: swinging high, dancing with joy, graduating, and dreaming big. The book celebrates love, encouragement and the power of imagination while emblazoned with the metaphor of butterflies as both children and dreams take flight.

Leticia McKnight currently resides in the Midwest of the United States and continues her work as an educator, mentor and author. Her next creative projects draw upon her interest in service, culturally diverse perspectives, and the lives of children everywhere.
